Yesterday was Labor Day in the United States, where many of our readers are based.
Now, Labor Day may be a commemoration of organized labor and the workers who have built up the US (similarly to May Day in most other countries), but according to one source, it's also the third-best day for annual beer retail sales in the country behind only the Fourth of July and Memorial Day. Yes, that means higher than Christmas, New Year's, the Superbowl, and even St. Patrick's Day.

For Brazil, this makes total senseβthe world's biggest beer company, AB InBev, is a Belgian-Brazilian giant with over 630 brands across 150 countries.
But let's look now to Mexico, which has far overcome its production ranking to become the world's largest beer exporter since 2010.
