🇦🇷🇲🇽 Argentina’s Ualá has begun offering credit cards in Mexico through an alliance with Mexican bank ABC Capital. Given this relationship with a local bank, Mexican Ualá customers will be able to build a national credit history.
Latinometrics: Ualá is a billionaire-backed fintech service that launched in 2017 and counts over 5M customers across Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. It launched its Mexican operations in 2020 and spent much of 2022 rolling out mobile point-of-sale units, personal loans, and remittance-receiving services.
