🇧🇷 Brazilian exports to the Arab World reached a historic $17.7B in 2022, per the Arab-Brazil Chamber of Commerce. This represents a 23.06% rise from the previous year and is the highest export revenue in over 30 years.
Latinometrics: The 22-member Arab League is made up of a number of Arab countries between Morocco and Oman. Brazil has long been a major supplier of halal beef and poultry to the Muslim-majority region, which on average pays an additional $150 by ton of chicken to ensure compliance with halal requirements for butchery.
🇨🇱 Chilean fuel retailer Copec is partnering with SpaceX subsidiary Starlink to provide Internet access to 74 service stations across the country. The partnership will provide free WiFi to customers and neighbors as part of a private-sector effort to boost connectivity among rural and distant areas.
