Just over half of you correctly guessed that Venezuela had the world’s tallest single uninterrupted waterfall. Angel Falls, in the state of Bolívar, measure at a height of 979 meters, and are among the country’s top tourist attractions. You might even recognize them from Pixar’s 2009 film Up, where they inspired the fictional Paradise Falls.

🇦🇷🇧🇴 Argentina & Bolivia will negotiate a new addendum regarding the import of natural gas by the former from the latter. This comes on the heels of Argentina’ long-awaited President Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline, which is expected to turn Argentina into a net exporter of natural gas itself. However, the north section of the pipeline will only be completed by late next year, meaning for now gas will continue to flow south from Bolivia.
Latinometrics: Argentina has been dialing back on its natural gas imports from its Andean neighbor as the country seeks to become self-sufficient. The pipeline will connect the country’s center, home to Buenos Aires and other major cities, to the massive Vaca Muerta field.
