🇦🇷 Global music sensation Taylor Swift has arrived to Buenos Aires to kick off the South American leg of her legendary Eras Tour, which is the 2nd highest-grossing tour in music history with over $780M in ticket sales thus far. Following this weekend in El Monumental, which some of her fans have tied to next week’s presidential runoff election, Ms. Swift — who has just become the first primarily-music billionaire in history — will be heading to neighboring Brazil for six shows in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Latinometrics: The 13 shows Taylor Swift has played across Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico this year reflect the pop superstar’s largest foray into Latin America in years. Given record-breaking sales (and people flying from the United States to try and score seats), we don’t expect this to be the final time the region is a stop on her world tours.
