Intuitively you would think a good approval rating would correlate with nations who are rapidly advancing, but when I actually think about this the total opposite seems to be true.
Lots of the most popular leaders reside over sinking nations embroiled in costly misadventures.
Once we establish if there is any correlation we could then consider cause and effect, for example… Is leadership disapproval evidence of a struggling nation or is it a luxury that only high performing nations enjoy?
